The First Time In A Decade
A client once told me “You (me) can’t change the world.” That’s true. While this is still not Jae’s Pity Party, I also know this. But the world is different now.
The days of me receiving comments like
-
“you look like Jackie Chan,” or
-
“I don’t trust you, you’re Chinese (which I am not),”
They are comments I have heard an uncountable number of times, I have stated that this has cost me well over one million dollars (far too low).
When something very wrong is going on, and if I stayed completely silent, someone will get hurt. One of my favorite movies is Pulp Fiction, which makes it soul-crushing that I cannot un-see this.
